The Dr. Oz show is coming to Fox 5 on September 14, 2009. Dr. Oz is Vice-Chair and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University. He directs the Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. His research interests include heart replacement surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, complementary medicine and health care policy. He has authored over 400 original publications, book chapters, and medical books and has received several patents. He performs 250 heart operations annually but you probably know him from his appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

Free tickets are available for tapings of “The Dr. Oz Show,” the daily syndicated series that will premiere on Monday, September 14 on Fox 5.
“The Dr. Oz Show” will begin taping as early as mid-August in Studio 6A in 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
