    CaroMont Regional Medical Center is expanding their emergency medicine department. The project will cost $16.5 million. The medical center says it will take between 18 to 24 month to complete the expansion. The last time they expanded the facility was fifteen years ago.

    Tonight, two pastors in Gastonia are holding a community event to show racism can happen to anyone.

There's a sewage problem going on in a neighborhood in Gastonia. People who live on Beacon Hill Drive say when it rains, the sewer line cannot handle the amount of water pumping through. This causes manholes to pop up, flooding people's backyards.

Britton Bradley says the odor of the sewer system is the root of all his frustration.

Bradley has one in his backyard, stating that it's the root of his frustration.

“It smells like you're inside of a cow barn of human waste,” he said.

He says the problem is that the sewer line runs right through his house. When there's heavy rain, his backyard becomes decorated with items that come out of the sewer - toilet papers, human feces, and trash.

The company maintaining the sewer line is Two Rivers Utilities. They told us they've only received one documented complaint about the issue, stating that if people see a problem, they must take action.

Bradley says he has multiple times. He's just tired of manholes popping up and finding random items in his backyard.

Two River Utilities has sent utility workers to come out to survey the area. Bradley says he just wants them to also look into the pump system.

    The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is working to track down whoever posted dozens of stickers and fliers with swastikas and the word "Uber" in Brooklyn. The stickers and flyers filled with images of hate were placed outside a Jewish boys' school on Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn. A Shomrim safety patrol spotted the stickers on the sidewalk and in the gutters, police said.
