Gardner White is holding a job fair to recruit for sales associates for the Brighton and Metro Detroit areas. Gardner-White is looking for candidates with entrepreneurial spirit who are seeking successful careers in commissioned sales. Gardner-White is also hiring warehouse employees, drivers and helpers to work out of the Auburn Hills facility supporting customer deliveries, as well as store office, backroom and cleaning personnel for our Brighton and Metro Detroit locations.
 
Gardner-White will hire candidates who possess passion and commitment to excellence above all else. Gardner-White will equip successful candidates with the tools for success, however it is up to them to bring the passion and commitment. The key to selling is product knowledge. Gardner-White holds a paid three-week training class educating new hires on product, selling technique, and store operations.

Gardner-White sales associates have unlimited salary potential. Our average sales income is $52,000 annually, with top earners at over $100,000 annually. Gardner-White offers paid training, an affordable benefit package including health, dental, vision, flex spending account, voluntary life insurance, short and long term disability, along with the option of 401K investing.

Gardner-White will be opening their eleventh store later this year in Brighton, Michigan. This job fair will support staffing at this new location, and also will support growth at their existing Metro Detroit locations.

Gardner-White Furniture has been a Michigan owned-and-operated furniture company since 1912. Gardner-White’s mission is to offer value-conscious consumers with excellent service and selection.

Gardner-White has expanded and innovated significantly in the past three years. In 2012, Gardner-White expanded operations and moved into a state-of-the-art 450,000 square foot distribution center in Auburn Hills. In 2013, Gardner-White became the first furniture company to offer same-day delivery to its customers.

    Two jet skiers stranded since Saturday night were rescued from small islands off of Staten Island Sunday morning, police sources said. The FDNY Marine division discovered the first jet skier on the West Bank Lighthouse island while patrolling the area after 8 a.m. Sunday, and took him to Staten Island University Hospital North. His friend, a man in his 40s, was also saved.
