NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Customers who feel like it takes longer than ever to get in and out of their restaurant of choice might want to blame themselves and not the staff.

Market Diner in Hell’s Kitchen was fed up with the delays in service and the complaints they were getting about the wait so they hired a firm to investigate.

The company went back to security video from 2004 and compared it to 2014 digital footage of activity inside the restaurant on W. 43rd St. and 10th Ave.

The firm found that it takes about 1 hour and 55 minutes for customers to get in and out of the restaurant. In 2004, that time was 1 hour and 5 minutes.

Unlike in 2004, customers today appeared to spend time taking pictures of their food and asking waiters for WiFi passwords and access before ordering, according to the firm.
