Happy 7-Eleven Day - New York News

Happy 7-Eleven Day

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

With the nice weather today in Chicago, what better way to cool off than with a cold frosty beverage? How about a free Slurpee?

It's that time of year again, July 11th, which has become known as 7-Eleven day. That means you can head over to your local 7-Eleven and pick up a free small Slurpee to help you cool off. The promotion runs from 11A.M.-7P.M.

But wait, there's more.

In previous years, 7-Eleven has made this a day for freebies, but this year, they're going to be extending it for a week. They may be doing this to encourage downloads of their app or because in the past, free Slurpees have actually encouraged customers to buy more Slurpees.

That in mind, the freebies they're going to be giving away through this week may bring in more money as shoppers tend to buy more when they receive free things in stores.

For the full list of what they're giving away each day through July 19th, you can GO HERE, and to get that app you can hit Google Play and the Apple App stores.
