Professor Egghead: Patriotic Science Experiments

Posted: Updated:

With the 4th of July days away we have a few crazy ways to celebrate. Professor Egghead Science Academy is a children's franchise that offers super cool science and engineering after schools classes, camps and parties. Founded by brothers Shaun and Gary Tuch, in 2007, the Academy boasts being the coolest place for kids to do and learn science.

Do not try any of these experiments yourself. These experiments were performed with the help of trained professionals. If you’d like to participate in fun science experiments, check out ProfessorEgghead.com

Experiment 1: Beach Ball Levitation

A hair dryer will be held by LISA. Then a ping pong ball will be placed on top of the hair dryer and will appear to levitate. A giant air blower will be brought out and held by STEVE. To show some beach and summer fun, a giant beach ball will hover a few feet above the blower and can be moved around by moving the air blower.

Experiment 2: Ping Pong Ball Blast

This will be a world record attempt for most ping pong balls exploded safely out of a steel drum using liquid nitrogen. Professor Egghead will handle the liquid nitrogen, while STEVE, LISA, & LAUREN will pour thousands of ping pong balls into steel drum and watch them explode upwards.

Born and raised in Liverpool, signed by an inexperienced agent named Brian Epstein, hustled into the studio with a genius producer named George Martin...and out of that session came a hit song called "Do You Want To Know A Secret." Now here's the twist…we're not talking about The Beatles.
