CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

There are a lot of soccer fans in Chicago and the city wants to make sure all of them have a place to watch tomorrow's must-win match for the United States.

Chicago will hold a World Cup viewing party in Soldier Field after previous U.S. games drew tens of thousands to the city's lakefront Grant Park.

U.S. Soccer and the city plan a watch party on Tuesday afternoon at the stadium. Soccer fans can watch the U.S. team take on Belgium. Gates open at 1:30 p.m. and the match starts at 3 p.m.

World Cup Soccer popularity in Chicago has grown exponentially. The team has captured attention with its performance and these public viewing events are a hit with the kids. Fans wildly waved American flags and wore red, white and blue at Chicago watch parties in recent weeks for this year's World Cup. The earlier U.S. game against Portugal brought about 20,000 fans at Grant Park.

Butler Field, near Petrillo Music Shell, held the crowd comfortably in recent weeks but Soldier Field has amenities. The concession stands will serve food, drinks and beer. The large monitor is easy to see from the field and seats. Soldier Field has real bathrooms and offers shelter. The grass will be covered with plastic flooring.

Entrance is free, parking is not where regular Soldier Field rates apply.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
