Kenosha murder suspect believed to be in Chicago

KENOSHA, Wis. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

An arrest warrant has been issued for a man suspected of shooting and killing a Gurnee woman early Saturday at a tavern in Kenosha, Wis., according to police.

About 1:45 a.m., a man entered the tavern in the 2400 block of 52nd Street and began shooting, police said.

A 31-year-old woman was shot and taken to Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, according to police.

The Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s office could not be reached to confirm the fatality.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspected shooter, whom police have identified as M.L. Dale. Dale has multiple previous convictions including battery and disorderly conduct, according to police and court documents.

Dale, 24, is described as a 6-foot-tall black man and may be in Chicago, police said.

Police say he is armed and dangerous, and anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Kenosha Police Department Detective Bureau at (262) 605-5203.
