NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Rumors are swirling about a romantic relationship between Jennifer Lopez and Dancing With The Stars' professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

The pair were reportedly seen getting cozy after Lopez's concert in Connecticut over the weekend.

So are the pair romantically linked? Dating?

Good Day NY went straight to the source.

"Can I have friends? It seems that any person I come in contact with if it's a girl, a female, all of a sudden there is a romance," said Chmerkovskiy.

The sultry dancer who has been linked to professional dancers and his celebrity dance partners on the hit show in the past was staying mum.

"So they're hooking up!" joked co-host Greg Kelly.

"It's not about that," said Chmerkovskiy.

"This is what's difficult. Social media is difficult. What I love doing now is after the win is that I'm a lot more available. I do a lot more public events. I go to signings. I get to meet people. I talk to people and hear what they say. I realize it's just the nature of the beast. It gives you the right to say whatever you want even if you regret it after," said Chmerkovskiy.

So is social media to blame for fanning the flame of a simple rumor?

"You're still not getting to get an answer," said Chmerkovskiy.

Lopez, 44, recently finalized her divorce to singer Marc Anthony. The ex-couple have two children together.

Two years ago, Nicole Pagliaro of Staten Island dropped off her wedding gown to be cleaned and preserved at a local dry cleaner when superstorm Sandy hit. The store was destroyed and Pagliaro assumed so had been her dress.  As her wedding anniversary approached, Pagliaro and her husband drove by another dry cleaner in town and saw the gown in the store's window. “I held on to the ticket because this was my only connection to my wedding dress,” said Pagliaro.
