'Booty facial': A smoother bum for $500

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Yes, you can get a treatment to make the skin on your bum smoother and nicer. We moisturize and exfoliate everywhere else, so why deprive our backside of that tender loving care?

"We do all these things in the operating room to make the butt look better but we're not taking care of the skin on the butt," says Dr. Matthew Schulman, who specializes in butt lifts and augmentations at his Park Avenue plastic surgery practice.

But the noninvasive booty facial addresses surface flaws for around $200 to $500. The treatment involves chemical peels, some moisturizers, vacuum suction, and lasers on your fine lines and wrinkles.

You'd have to repeat this procedure several times to see dramatic results.

But I did like what I saw after one round. It looked and felt smoother, even if I felt a bit vulnerable in the process.

Type "human growth hormone" into Google and you'll find pills, powders, and injections. Easy access is one reason more teenagers are experimenting with the performance-enhancing drug. The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids surveyed close to 4,000 students from 9th to 12th grade and their answers are alarming. The study claims the number of teenagers using HGH, or human growth hormone, has doubled in the last year, creating a lot of concern in the medical community.

Six people were indicted Wednesday in an international ring that managed to take over more than 1,000 StubHub users' accounts and fraudulently buy tickets to such prime events as Jay-Z and Elton John concerts, a New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game and Broadway shows like "The Book of Mormon," the Manhattan district attorney said. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. said the thieves would then resell the tickets and split up the proceeds.
