Teen shot dead, man hospitalized after Goodyear shooting

Posted: Updated:
GOODYEAR, Ariz. - Goodyear Police say a 19-year-old man is dead and a 44-year-old man is in the hospital after they were shot near Wildflower and Yuma on Tuesday night.

Police say the men were able to drive themselves to the West Valley Hospital, off McDowell and Litchfield.

The 19-year-old later died from his injuries.

The hospital was placed on lockdown as a precaution when the men arrived.

The condition of the 44-year-old man hasn't been released.

Police aren't sure if the men were shot inside or outside of their vehicle.

There is a very vague description of two suspects: two black men in their late teens or early 20s. Police aren't sure if they fled on foot or in a vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call Goodyear Police at 623-832-1220.

This is a developing story. Stay with FOX 10 News for updates.
