    We may be getting sunny skies this weekend, but one Rock Hill family is still under water. Thursday's flooding filled their yard and home, covering the entire bottom floor with inches of water. Why they're blaming SCDOT.

Charlotte students walking to Raleigh finally reached the state capital Monday afternoon.

The group has left one mile to walk Tuesday morning. They will be joining around 200 recent high school graduates for a rally at the North Carolina General Assembly.

Everyone will be wearing their caps and gowns and a peaceful protest to ask for in-state tuition for undocumented students.

After the Undocugraduation, students will lobby with lawmakers.

    Union County high school football coaches will be taking a mandatory concussion awareness class on Tuesday, July 29.The class is held by Dr. Eric Warren of Novant Health Waxhaw Family and Sports Medicine.The goal of the class is to bring to the attention of coaches warning signs of concussions and how to take extra precaution. Union County varsity football begins on Friday, Aug. 22.

    One of the two deputy U.S. marshals shot in the West Village was released from the hospital on Tuesday. The marshals and an NYPD detective were seriously wounded in a shootout with fugitive sexual assault suspect Charles Richard Mozdir, officials said. The shootout happened in a smoke shop called Smoking Culture on West 4th Street near Jones Street. Mozdir was killed.
