Erika got very creative in the kitchen and created a refreshing, light, bright, and seasonal Quinoa and Berry Salad with Lemon Garlic Turkey Jerky.

You will toss the salad from start to finish as her main demo

You will also demo a “Hopelessly Stuffed” sweet potato side dish which visually consists of splitting open a sweet potato, scooping out 1/3 of the insides, mix it with sour cream in a mixing bowl, mash it up, season with salt and pepper, then stuff the sweet potato skins with the mixture. You bake it a little longer, while pan frying delicious turkey jerky and seasonings. Pop the stuffed sweet potato skins out of the oven, garnish with jerky, nuts, and toppings to taste.

What’s a summer National Jerky Day without the perfect jerky-inspired beverage? Erika will have you sipping out of her Bloody Mary rendition, featuring a splash of vodka, fresh tomato juice, a dash of hot sauce, lemon juice, dill, and a large piece of garlic chili pepper beef jerky, garnished with a thick celery stalk.
