GLENDALE, Ariz. - A man was arrested after a was fatally shot at a Glendale apartment complex near 59th Avenue and Northern early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded around 2 a.m. to a 911 call about a shooting victim, 29 year-old George Palmer.

While officers were with Palmer, witnesses told them 28-year-old Dylan Labe Williams had fled in a pick-up truck, but had returned.

Officers talked to Williams and detained him inside of a vehicle nearby.

Police say Palmer and Williams had an argument earlier in the evening at the apartment complex.

The men reportedly had seen each other before, but weren't friends.

Later that night, the two men met again and began to argue, which police say turned into a physical fight.

At one point, Williams allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Palmer.

Palmer was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Williams was arrested and booked into jail on charges of second degree murder and misconduct involving weapons.
