Lady M Crepe Cakes

Posted: Updated:
Ask anyone about Lady M Confections and Mille Crêpes are the first thing they’ll mention. It’s a signature, a striking 20-layer creation of golden crêpes and cream.

Based in New York City, Lady M prides itself on creating fine cakes and confectionary delights that marry French technique with Japanese sensibilities.

Every single cake from our kitchen is handmade - that extra attention to detail and use of top quality ingredients are key foundations of the Lady M philosophy. The result? A loyal and global following of cake lovers around the world. Lady M sweets are served at top restaurants, cafés, and at the homes of an ever-growing private clientele.

The original Lady M boutique is situated at 78th and Madison on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, a thoughtfully designed jewel box where picture-perfect cakes tempt behind displays of polished glass. A second Lady M opened in 2012 at The Plaza Food Hall, and a third across from Bryant Park in 2013. In Fall 2013, Lady M branched outside of New York City, opening one boutique in Los Angeles and two in Singapore. 2014 welcomed five new locations in Korea.

Lady M has been featured in publications ranging widely from The New York Times to Vogue, Travel + Leisure, and Oprah Winfrey’s The New Delicious. Our confections are coveted among the fashion and design crowd, a classic favorite in the pages of Allure, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Departures, and Town & Country. Lady M is also proud to be voted Best Bakery by Zagat with a 29 out of 30 rating.

As for the cakes themselves, Mille Crêpes are simple but impossible to replicate, a destination dessert. The classic is the bestseller, though crêpes are also offered in Citron, Green Tea, Chocolate, Strawberry, and Marron. Not to be overlooked are additional cakes and individual desserts which round out the brand’s collection. Imagine Coffee Mousse, Strawberry Shortcake, and the magnificent Banana Mille-Feuille to name a few.

Certain locations offer exclusive sweets - Banana-Chocolate Mille Crêpes at the Plaza Food Hotel and Green Tea Éclairs at Bryant Park.

With a global clientele, and influences from both the Japanese and French, Lady M is very much a New York City company at the core. A proud sponsor of St. Jude Children's Hospital and local schools, Lady M is also a participant and promoter of Martha’s Stewart’s annual “Made in America” at Grand Central Station.

Born and raised in Liverpool, signed by an inexperienced agent named Brian Epstein, hustled into the studio with a genius producer named George Martin...and out of that session came a hit song called "Do You Want To Know A Secret." Now here's the twist…we're not talking about The Beatles.
