Two people were killed when a vehicle reportedly going 100 mph slammed into an SUV at the busy intersection of Flatbush Ave. and Avenue U in Marine Park, said police.

It happened just after 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say a Nissan Maxima traveling southbound on Flatbush Avenue struck a BMW which was turning onto Avenue U.  The driver was reportedly traveling at 100 mph at the time of the crash, reported the NY Daily News.

Philbert Martin Williams, 20, was taken to Coney Island Hospitalized where he was pronounced dead.

A passenger in the Nissan, Christina Wipper, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene. Both lived in Brooklyn.

Police say the driver and a passenger in the BMW were treated for minor injuries at Kings County Hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
