Missing autistic teen found

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The 14-year-old autistic boy from Brooklyn who disappeared on Friday was found Monday morning.

The details surrounding his return are not clear.

Eliceo Cortez was found safe and sound, said police. He was reunited with his family.

His frantic mother, relatives and friends were helping the NYPD in their search for the boy who is highly functional.

He disappeared at the Sheepshead Bay Q subway line where he went after school, said police.

Cortez is 6-foot-1, 135 pounds and has brown eyes, short black hair and a long scar down his back.

He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black converse hi-top sneakers at the time of his disappearance.
