Position: National Sales Manager

Job Description:

Driven to succeed and improve personally, the successful candidate will have a track record of generating business growth by seizing opportunities and resolving problems. Applicants must be willing and able to embrace our team-focused environment while performing initially as an individual sales representative. The person hired is expected to eventually build a sales team as growth dictates.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Prospect and close new business opportunities.

Exceed sales goals by closing new sales and establishing long-term relationships.

Manage budget, and forecast sales activities and plan for growth.

Design and implement strategic sales plans.

Review market analyses to determine market needs, price schedules and strategy.

Understand and adapt to factors that influence business growth regionally and nationally.

Stay current with industry and understand competitor strengths and weaknesses.

Analyze sales data, identify market expansion opportunities and recommend product line improvements to strengthen market position.

Generate and present sales reports.

Provide consistent and immediate feedback to executive management

Experience & Attitudinal Expectations

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

An abundance mentality, recognizable authenticity, self-awareness and integrity.

Strong sales skills evidenced by a track record of success.

Ten-plus years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive/industrial industries.

A track record identifying and resolving multi-tier distribution channel problems

Familiarity and/or experience with electrical system or electrical concepts is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field is a plus.

Persuasive presentation and written communication skills

Ability to develop and execute multi-tier channel marketing programs that stimulate end-user demand

Effective planning and organizing capabilities

Understanding and effective use of financial information

Competency using technology and business applications (CRM, Excel, Wireless).
