MyFoxPhilly Weekend Weather Forecast

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA - The flood concern has shifted well to our north so we’re finally drying out after Friday’s rainfall.  The flood warning will be until 4am Saturday. On average, we experienced 1-2” worth of rainfall in the area.

As that system continues to move well away from us up north, by Saturday morning we can expect sunshine across the area. A little disturbance could rotate through the afternoon that could spark off a light shower; Temperatures will be comfortable for the entire weekend.

By Sunday morning, we are expecting clear skies with a chance of spot showers in the afternoon.

If your weekend takes you by the Schuylkill for the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, you can expect low temperatures of 59 degrees by 8am and high temperatures of 72 degrees by 4pm.

The Allergy reports shows medium to high level pollen count from Saturday going into Sunday. The rain certainly helped in that area.

SLIDESHOW: FOX 29 Futurecast

If you're headed to the shore for the last weekend before Memorial Day, we should hit 71 on Saturday and 70 on Sunday with breezy conditions and a mix of sun and clouds. The ocean water temperature is still chilly, of course, at about 57 degrees.

It gets cooler on Monday and Tuesday of next week, but temperatures stay in the 70s, and that is nice because it is still springtime, technically, even though next weekend is the unofficial start of the summer.
