LOS ANGELES (WJBK) -- It's down to the final three on 'American Idol' with metro Detroit cheering on hometown favorite Jena Irene.

On Wednesday night's show each contestant will sing three songs. The judges will pick one; mentor Randy Jackson will pick another; and each contestant's hometown will select a song their finalist has already performed this season.

Does Jena Irene dodge a question about an Idol romance?

With little more than a week left in the FOX singing competition, Idol's top three contestants know there's no room for error once they take the stage. "I think we have to pull out all of our trick that are up our sleeves right now, whatever they will be," said Irene, a native of Farmington Hills.

Watch Jena's first appearance on FOX 2 prior to 'Idol'

"It's about having moments, and it's all about giving winning performances," said Jackson.

You can watch Jena, along with finalist Caleb Johnson and Alex Preston, tonight at 8 p.m. on FOX 2.
