New Castle County police are searching for Tawana Marks, a 20-year-old female and her 7-month-old daughter, Raine Marks, both from the 1700 block of Stonebridge Boulevard in New Castle. NEW CASTLE COUNTY, Del. -

New Castle County police are searching for Tawana Marks, a 20-year-old female and her 7-month-old daughter, Raine Marks, both from the 1700 block of Stonebridge Boulevard in New Castle.

Police say on Friday at approximately 10:40 p.m., New Castle County Police responded to the residence for a missing person report.

According to Tawana’s mother, she last spoke with her daughter on April 30th at approximately 5:00 p.m.

Officers have made several failed attempts to contact Tawana.

Police say Tawana does not own a vehicle.

Police describe Tawana Marks as a black female, 5'1'' tall, average build, black hair, brown eyes and wearing eyeglasses.

    Police are responding to the Brooklyn Bridge where two whitewashed American flags have been raised. It is not clear who raised the flags or why.
