Before you take photos or record video - remember:

1. As the storm approaches TAKE SHELTER -- NOT PHOTOS. Do not put yourself in harms way. If you take photos or video of clouds of the approaching storm, do not wait too long to take shelter.

2. Photos and video of the aftermath provide a record of the storm. Puddles, fallen branches, downed trees and more. DO NOT TAKE CHANCES WITH DOWNED WIRES, call the fire department or police. DO NOT VENTURE INTO FLOODS.
