3 detained in connection to meth ring investigation

Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Three people are in custody in connection to a long time investigation into illegal drug activity inside a home.

A neighbor who lives near 41st Avenue and Peoria called FOX 10 saying he heard several booms coming from across the street around 4:15 a.m.

MCSO and a SWAT team used flash bangs before entering a home in the neighborhood with a search warrant.

They say they've been watching the home for months and they believe a meth ring is involved. We're told there was no meth lab at this location, but drugs and guns were found inside the home.

Three people are reportedly in custody.

We're told local authorities have been investigating the home in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency and US Postal Inspector.

This is a developing story. Stay with FOX 10 News for updates.
