Jason Priestley: It Was All Groundbreaking At Times

Posted: Updated:

In his new book, Jason Priestley says that when was an unknown actor, he shared digs with another unknown – Brad Pitt.

And then there's the Christmas Story. Jason, Brad and their gang of friends had a big holiday celebration one year and there were bottles of alcohol and cartons of cigarettes being exchanged.

But Pitt, who had just returned from his hometown of Springfield, Missouri, brought back for each of his pals a Bible. Each one was personally engraved with their names next to a small gold cross. Although the group was surprised by the religious offering , Pitt was thrilled and couldn’t stop grinning. (Jason also reveals that Pitt was having an affair with his “Thelma and Louise” co-star Geena Davis who had recently split from her husband Jeff Goldblum.)

Jason does not share such fond memories of his 90210 o-star Tori Spelling’s husband. When he introduced himself to Dean McDermott, the fellow Canadian refused to shake his hand and acted aggressive and rude. Priestley adds that in the years since, he has been asked many times to appear on Spelling’s numerous reality shows but so far he, “hasn’t been able to find the time.” No surprise there.
