Severe weather video of rotating cloud near Belleville and Ypsilanti

WJBK Fox 2 - Fox 2 viewer David Bittenbender of Belleville sent in video of a rotating cloud.  He shot the video near Belleville and Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Fox 2's Rich Luterman talks over the video during Fox 2's live storm coverage to explain what is seen in the video. Four counties, Washtenaw, Livingston, Wayne and Monroe,  were under tornado warnings late in the afternoon on Monday, May 12.

Several tornado warnings have been issued for communities in southeast Michigan as a spate of severe weather travels across the state.
 
There are no official reports of tornados or wind damage. He says there are reports of flooding in Oakland and Genesee counties.
 
The weather service says storms moving across the Midwest are bringing with them strong winds.
 
A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for Monroe County, Michigan, near the Ohio state line until 10 p.m. Monday.
 
Power outages also have been reported in a number of communities.
