Baby killed, 3 injured in DeKalb Co. home invasion

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga.  - Police in DeKalb County are searching for suspects in a quadruple shooting that killed a 9-month old baby in Stone Mountain Saturday night.

Nineteen-year old Oslushla Smith and 16-year old Cultrez Johnson have been named suspects in this weekend shooting spree and 20-year old Kayla Dixon named a person of interest in this case.

A spokesperson for the DeKalb County Police Department said a group of armed, masked men broke into a house in Stone Mountain Saturday night. Officials say the baby and three women who were inside at the time were wounded, and the baby was pronounced dead at Egelston Hospital.

Authorities say this shooting may be retaliatory in nature and connected to the shooting death of a 29-year-old man who was gunned down at a Stone Mountain apartment complex on May 3.

A witness of the May 3 shooting, Alexis Malone, was shot and killed in Decatur on Saturday morning; it is unclear weather the Malone shooting was connected to this shooting on To Lani Farm Road Saturday.

The three women are currently recovering at a local medical center.

The U.S. Open is underway in Queens and there's no denying that many of the players, both men and women, are in great physical shape and know how to play that up. Women are particularly promoted in the industry as attractive, fashionable and fiercely competitive. Does that help the game and draw more people in?
