Cooking with Chef Anton Testino from 'Hell's Kitchen'

Posted: Updated:
NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) -

Fresh off another win for the blue team, Anton Testino is making his home state proud. He helped me step up my Italian cooking skills at his restaurant. He's the fearless New Jersey native heating up Season 12 of "Hell's Kitchen." Testino is also the executive chef at Tony's Touch of Italy in Wayne, New Jersey. I ventured into the kitchen for a lesson.

Gordon Ramsey seems like the loudest, angriest man on television but Anton told me he is totally different outside of the kitchen.

Anton's motivation to win the show is his family of first-generation Italians who've owned restaurants for over 50 years. Anton had his first taste of the business he was 6.

Anton has overcome many obstacles, including dyslexia and ADHD. Now he is sharing his ingredients for success in "Chef Anton Testino's Cooking with Confidence," the title given to him by none other than Ramsey.

If you want to taste Anton's cooking for yourself, he'll be serving up some sustainable seafood creations at Sushi Samba in the West Village on May 11.
