Boggs Mountain Shelter Director raw interview

Posted: Updated:
This is the complete Fox5 I-Team interview with then-Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter director Lowanda “Peanut” Kilby that took place July 10, 2012. Kilby goes on trial next month on theft charges connected to the deaths of 28 dogs or cats. Prosecutors accuse her of funneling donor money for those pets into a secret personal account, then quietly ordering the dogs killed to make way for more donor money.  The dogs were supposed to be kept alive because donors paid money to put them in the shelter’s “Lucky Dog” program. Some of the dead dogs discussed in this interview are part of the criminal case against her, including two dogs we witnessed as being happy and healthy during a hidden camera visit conducted an hour before this interview. Kilby has pled not guilty to the charges.
