FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WJBK) - UPDATED TO ADD: Police say Fudyum has been located safe and his family has been notified. Below is the original information about his disappearance.

Farmington Hills police are searching for Gennady Fudym, 61, who was last seen at 10 p.m. Wednesday near 13 Mile and Drake roads. Fudym suffers from dementia, severe memory loss and could be easily confused.

He's described as a white male, is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He could be wearing a white cap, black shoes and sweat pants.

Police say Fudym's primary language is Russian. While he did at one time speak English, his memory impairment has caused him to lose much of this ability. He may not be able to understand or respond to anyone who speaks to him in English.

Police believe he could be driving a 2005 light blue Honda Pilot with non-tinted windows.  The license plate is BRC-4072.
