Breakfast Strada with Easter Leftovers

(WJBK) - Breakfast Strada

Ingredients

1 lb. Ham, medium dice
6     eggs
2 c.  whole milk
6     slices of bread cubed (about 4 cups)
8 Oz. cheese, fine dice or shredded
½ c.  diced bell peppers, onions or other vegetable, sautéed
Pinch of salt and pepper
1 t   dry mustard
½ t   nutmeg

Method
Sauté vegetables until slightly tender.
Lightly grease a 7x11 inch baking dish.
Layer baking dish with bread cubes, vegetables, ham and cheese.
Wisk eggs, milk, spices and salt together.
Pour egg mixture into pan.
Pre heat oven to 350*f. bake for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature of 170*f is reached. Let stand for 10 minutes prior to serving.
