Mother Sends Police A On Wild Car Chase With Child In The Car

Posted: Updated:

An Indiana woman faces multiple felonies after kidnapping her daughter and leading police on a wild chase.

Aubrey Coy, 34, has limited custody rights over her five-year-old daughter but stands to lose them after abducting her during a supervised visit.

Dash cam video shows a police officer pulling coy over but she refused to surrender.

She then takes off with her daughter in the front passenger sea. She even pulls the girl onto her lap in the driver's seat during the high speed chase.

The video shows one tire coming off its rim causing the car to finally come to a stop.

Coy makes a run with her daughter in her arms, fighting police while they try to arrest her.

Police say coy was high on cocaine during the chase.

She is charged with a string of felonies including child abuse, resisting arrest, and operating under the influence of drugs.

Coy is being held on a $150,000 bail.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
