NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Author and motivational speaker Gabrielle Bernstein says her readers wanted fast results to feeling less stressed and more balanced. That's why she wrote her fourth book, 'Miracles Now.'

“I think people really want quick change now, not 10 years from now, but now," said Bernstein.

Some of the the top tools to change your mood and reorganize your energy:

  • Breathe in for five seconds, hold for five seconds, breathe out and hold for five seconds. Do that for one minute.
  • When you're feeling helpless, help some one. Call a relative or friend and ask if you can help.
  • Snap out of it: recognize that worry is a prayer for chaos. Use a rubber band around your wrist, every time you say something negative, snap the rubber band.
  • Trouble sleeping due to a racing mind and negative thoughts? Remember: sleep is a spiritual practice: breathe in like you have a quarter in your mouth and then breathe out your teeth. It’s a Kundalini yoga method. You’ll feel more tired. You’ll release your thoughts.
