The Gift Of Life Organ Dash

Posted: Updated:

This weekend is the annual Dash for Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness and a local family knows first-hand how important this message is.

Andi Seitchick, 57, is a beloved teacher in Philadelphia and she desperately needs a kidney transplant.

Her daughters and her students are doing everything they can to spread the word.

Andi's daughters, Lexi and Madison, along with John Green from "Gift Of Life Donor Program", join the Good Day crew to explain why people should consider organ donation.

Fox 29's Chris Murphy will at the 19th annual Dash for Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness. The run kicks off at 8:30am at the art museum steps on Sunday.
