CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

An Ohio High School is making a controversial move to ban hoodies from the school.

Students at Beallsville High School will no longer be allowed to wear hooded sweatshirts. The call was made to parents Monday night.

The new policy says that students could wear them on the bus, but upon arrival to school, students had to store the clothing in lockers.

The school cites "safety" as one of the reasons for the ban.
