CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

It's a place every Chicago sports fan will need to check out. The Chicago Sports Museum officially opens on Wednesday, on the seventh floor of Water Tower Place next to Harry Caray's.

The exhibits are piled high with memorabilia, including game-worn jerseys and signed merchandise from each of Chicago's professional teams.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall joined Good Day Chicago Tuesday morning, to share how excited he is for the grand opening. From major league to little league, Marshall said he knows Chicago sports fans support their team and soak in all there is to see.

"This shows what Chicago is really about," Marshall told FOX 32 News.

Harry Caray's wife Dutchie was also very excited for the grand opening – to see Chicago sports celebrated with as much love as her husband would have shown for our teams.

"It's an amazing feeling," Dutchie Caray told FOX 32. "I can't really describe how beautiful and wonderful this place is."

Marshall's jersey will be on display along with jerseys of other local sports greats like Walter Payton, Michael Jordan and Patrick Kane. In his modest way, he said he isn't worthy of this honor – but he's thrilled to be a part of the exhibit.

"I don't deserve it," Marshall said. "I've only been here two years. I've had some impressive numbers, but to be here, it takes a lot of work. I'm thrilled and honored and I'll take it. I'm appreciative of everything I get. Harry Caray's has been really good to me."

Judging by their enthusiasm Tuesday morning, we're sure fans will be glad to see his jersey in the exhibit all the same.

The museum will be open from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
