Dog walker says homeowner flung dog feces at her

Posted: Updated:

A woman was walking her dog in Birmingham, MI when her dog stopped to do his business on a lawn.

The woman says the homeowner ran outside and picked it up and flung it at her, without even giving her a chance to pick up the waste.

She says the homeowner also swore at her telling her to get off his property.

The homeowner's wife, Tracey Wolfe, says her husband, Eric, would have never thrown anything at a woman. She believes he meant to throw the waste into the street but it somehow hit her.

A neighbor filed a police report in 2012 after Eric threatened to poison her dogs and throw pepper at them, but Tracey says she doesn't believe it, saying they are "good citizens."

A witness driving by called police and the woman walking her dog is now pressing charges.

Police say they are taking the incident seriously and expect assault and battery charges to be filed next week.
