Disturbed Man Attempts to Meet Kendall Jenner

Posted: Updated:

(FOX 11/ CNS) - A man claiming to be the boyfriend of television personality and model Kendall Jenner was being held for psychiatric evaluation today after arriving uninvited at her parents' home, authorities said.

The man, described as a 21-year-old in a disheveled state and talking to himself, appeared at the residence in the  around 4 p.m. Sunday, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department report and the Los Angeles Times.

The man claimed to be the boyfriend of Kendall Jenner, the 18-year-old daughter of Kris Jenner, the owner of the residence, Lt. Michael Williams of the sheriff's Malibu/Lost Hills Station said.  This "was not correct information," Williams said.

The man, whose name was not released, told deputies that Kendall Jenner, who was identified only as the Hidden Hills resident, in the report, was communicating with his telepathically, that he had been invited to visit and had driven from Arizona to do so.

Williams said he was not sure who else was at the residence at the time.  The Los Angeles Times reported that Kim Kardashian, Jenner's half-sister on her mother's side, was staying at the residence with her fiance, the pop singer Kanye West, and their infant daughter North, while their own residence was under construction.

Williams said no criminal charges would be filed against the man.
