TROY, Mich. (WJBK) -

A local nanny says she was the victim of a hit-and-run while caring for her employer's 10-month-old baby.

Jill Hauser says she was driving along 14 Mile Road and Stephenson Highway in Troy Sunday afternoon when she was sideswiped by another driver who blew a stop sign.

Hauser tells FOX 2's Robin Schwartz both she and the other driver pulled into a parking lot, but then the other driver the woman quickly became defensive, saying she had family in the police department.

Hauser says the other driver took off when she learned police were on the way. But before driving off, Hauser says she was able to take a cell phone picture of the driver and her license plate.

The license plate CNW 6562 is associated with an old address, so police still do not know who the other driver is.

No one was hurt in the accident.

A Queens woman had some unexpected roommates living in her apartment: 50,000 bees. Beekeepers reportedly removed the swarm from Frieda Turkmenilli's ceiling this week after her neighbors in Queens alerted the building manager. Turkmenilli says she saw only a few bees buzzing around over the last few weeks and never realized how many had taken up residence right above her head.
