Dover Man Arrested For Sixth DUI

A Dover man was arrested after police found he was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol for the 6th time.

At 4:38 P.M on March 21th 2014, a trooper was dispatched to Royal Farms on West Lebanon Road and South State Street for a man that was asleep inside a running vehicle.

The trooper found Titus W. Hobbs, had his foot on the break and was slumped over in the vehicle asleep.

The officer conducted a DUI investigation and took Hobbs into custody.

A background check revealed Hobbs had five previous DUI convictions.

This arrest made his sixth DUI arrest.

Titus Hobbs was arraigned on the Felony DUI charge and later released after posting $5,000.00 cash bond.

    The third law enforcement officer injured in a Manhattan shootout is out of the hospital. The NYPD says Detective Mario Muniz was left Bellevue Hospital shortly after noon on Wednesday. Hundreds of his fellow police officers cheered as Muniz left the hospital in a wheelchair pushed by his NYPD patrol partner, Joseph Trovato.

Police Commissioner William Bratton has said the detective's protective vest may have saved his life.
