Delaware Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident

A Delaware motorist died after colliding with a truck Saturday night on South Kingston Road.

Around 8:40 p.m., Victor A. Cruz's 2004 Honda CBR motorcycle was approaching the intersection of South Kingston Rd when it struck the rear of a 2007 Dodge Ram.  The truck was crossing the intersection when the two collided. Cruz was thrown from his motorcycle and landed in the road due to the impact.

Then a 2003 Honda CRV struck Cruz after he was flown off the bike.

The Dodge Ram and Honda operators both came to a controlled stop after the accident. They were not injured.

Victor Cruz, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to Christian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing their investigation into this incident and no charges have been filed at this time

    A new Marist College poll finds most Americans say it doesn't take a lot of money to be stylish. The nationwide poll by the Hudson Valley college found 86 percent of respondents said it was possible to be stylish on a limited budget. The other 14 percent agreed with the statement that it's only possible to have good style with a lot of money. The poll also found that 68 percent of Americans think we focus too much on fashion.
