On Friday a Federal Judge ruled to strike down Michigan's ban on gay marriage. READ FULL DETAILS ABOUT THE RULING AND THE TWO WOMEN IN THE CENTER OF IT, April DeBoer and Jayne Rowse.

Friday night on Fox 2's Let it Rip Huel Perkins moderates a debate and gets reaction to the historic ruling.

On the panel:

Chris Kessel was one of the attorney's that worked on the landmark case that led to the ruling.

Frank Aiello is the Vice President of Affirmations in Ferndale, a support center for gay and lesbian community.

Reverend Roland Caldwell, of the Black Pastors for Traditional Marriage, is not happy  about Friday's decision.

Conservative commentator Ron Edwards says this is another case of a federal judge ignoring the voters.

Fox 2's legal ace Charlie Langton rounds out the panel

    Nearly all 1,100 facilities providing services in the city's new universal pre-kindergarten program are ready to open on time after passing health and safety inspections. City officials said Friday they expect the eight remaining pre-K schools to remedy violations by Sept. 4's opening day.     All was calm and quiet Friday evening in Staten Island but Saturday thousands are expected to descend on Tompkinsville for a march that organizers are promising will be peaceful. The march will culminate in a rally right outside the 120th Precinct. Representatives from the national action network were in Staten Island Friday making preparations for Saturday's demonstration, which is estimated to draw at least 5,000 people from all over the country.
