New Castle County Couple Arrested For Drug Related Offenses

NEW CASTLE, DE -

New Castle County Police have arrested a couple for drug related offenses.

On March 20, officers arrested 26-year old John Cresto and 21-year old Meghan Wolf during a traffic stop on the vehicle operated by Crestco.

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Malvern Road after observing several traffic violations. After making contact with the driver, officers observed evidence consistent with the sale of narcotics. The officer then proceeded to search the vehicle of the occupants.

Police located five bags of heroin weighing .125 grams, 60- Alprazolam 2mg pills, and an undisclosed amount of cash along with drug paraphernalia.

Cresto was charged with driving a vehicle at an unreasonable or imprudent speed, failure to use a turn signal, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, conspiracy in the second degree and manufactures, delivers or possess with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. He was arraigned and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Facility in lieu of posting $12, 000 cash bail and a no contact order.

Wolf was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy in the second degree and manufactures, delivers or possess with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. She was later released on an $8,500 unsecured bail and issued a no contact order.
