I am a Digital Journalist based in Hickory. I cover Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Iredell and Watauga counties.

I was born in Weaverville, NC. My high school dream was to be a White House correspondent, then college happened and I got involved with the radio station at Western Carolina University.

I served as General Manager of the radio station (WWCU-FM) for a number of years.

Eventually, I moved to Elmira, NY, where I was an on-air host and program director at a classic rock radio station (WNGZ-FM). I loved the job because it gave me a way to get to know the people and serve as an advocate for the community.

I went back to school, finished my MBA and spent several years in the PR world.

I jumped at the chance to join FOX 46, because this position affords me the opportunity to again advocate for my community. I am excited to be back in broadcasting, now covering things that matter to the people of the Catawba Valley.
