I-Team Investigates: Facebook felons

Posted: Updated:

The Fox 5 I-Team has learned one of the four people accused of leading police on a high speed chase last week had just made parole after staying in touch with friends on the outside through Facebook.

Authorities have tried for years to stop what police call "Facebook felons."

They're criminals who create Facebook pages behind bars using smuggled smart phones.

The Department of Corrections continues to use its Facebook page to announce when visitors or staff are caught bringing in contraband like cell phones.
