PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Phoenix Police are searching for a woman who witnesses say was abducted while walking near 67th Avenue and Campbell.

Police got the first call around 1 p.m. when a witness saw a car pull up behind the woman, pulled out a gun, and forced her into his car.

The woman apparently fought and screamed and was able to escape from the man for one point but he overpowered her and forced her back in the vehicle.

Investigators are looking for a four-door Chevrolet Cavalier, white in color, with gray front and rear bumpers. It was last seen with a possible partial license plate of BBB. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20's, 5'8" tall, and 160 lbs. He was last wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering, dark jeans, and was armed with a semi automatic handgun.

Anyone with information is asked to call Phoenix Police at (602) 262-6141 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
