Breakfast with Buck: West Egg Cafe

Posted: Updated:

Named after the fictional town in F. Scott Fitzgerald's, The Great Gatsby, West Egg Cafe is what happens when southern comfort food meets a modern energetic environment. The local restaurant on Atlanta's west side is owned by Jennifer and Ben Johnson.

This week on Breakfast With Buck, we feature their weekly special, a pulled pork frittata, as well as their take on the classic fried egg sandwich, and my personal favorite, the pimento cheese and bacon omelette.

And who says you can't have dessert for breakfast? Certainly not me. Make sure to try the Coca-Cola Cupcake. If you're too full from the large breakfast portions, I recommend getting one to go.

If you've got a favorite breakfast restaurant that you would love to see featured on "Breakfast with Buck," let me know on my Facebook page or on Twitter.
