Take A Trip To The "Cosmos" At Columbus Attraction

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBUS, Ga. -

This Sunday, an incredible television event will take viewers out of the world. Ten networks -- including FOX -- will debut "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey," a 13-episode series described as a "science-based adventure" across the universe.

And once viewers learn about space by watching the series, there's no better place to explore it than Columbus State University's Coca-Cola Space Science Center. Located along the Columbus Riverwalk, this state-of-the-art facility provides a chance for visitors to learn about space science and exploration. It boasts a Challenger Learning Center, Omnisphere Theater, and the Mead Observatory -- along with interactive displays in the Center's plaza.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken talked with "Cosmos" Executive Producer Ann Druyan and host Neil deGrasse Tyson -- and then "blasted off" to Columbus to check out the Coca-Cola Space Science Center.
