    The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help solving a deadly hit-and-run that occurred on February 20, 2014.

The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help solving a deadly hit-and-run that occurred on February 20, 2014.

The victim has been identified as 55-year-old Darleane Yeargin of Detroit.

She was struck by a vehicle while walking near the area of Puritan Street and Asbury Park. Detroit police say she was standing under a street light that was not working.

The suspected vehicle is a black or darker-colored 2002-2003 Chevy Monte Carlo. The vehicle left the scene.

The victim was struck a second time by a second vehicle, which also left the scene. That second suspected vehicle is a white conversion van.

Surveillance photos of the suspected vehicles have been released.
