3 men charged in New Year's Eve slaying

ROME, Ga. (AP) - Grand jurors have indicted three men on murder charges in a killing that happened on New Year's Eve in northwest Georgia.

The Rome News-Tribune reports that 31-year-old Willie Lewis Dublin; 26-year-old Darnell Labron Mitchell; and Dewayne Labron Reynolds are charged in the death of Willie Terry Slack.

The 56-year-old man was found dead on a neighbor's porch in Rome on New Year's Eve.

The three men each are charged with multiple counts of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during a crime.

Reynolds already is in prison. He and Mitchell also are charged with being convicted felons in possession of a gun.
