Posted: Updated:

Alright, lets be honest - what person doesn't love free stuff? Whether it's a retractable pen or a brand new car, people always line up when they hear there's a chance they can get something for free. Don't believe me, just go to an expo!

Now, FOX 11 is really amp-ing up their contesting game, and it's the viewer's time to shine! Every week, FOX 11 is giving you a chance to win tickets to TV's #1 biggest hit series, AMERICAN IDOL. This is your opportunity to see the contestants up close and personal, as belt their hearts out in hopes to skyrocket to fame.  Just watch the FOX 11 News at 6a, Studio11 LA at 5p, and FOX11 10p news for the code word!

Then, there's the COSMOS: A SPACETIME ODYSSEY premiere at the Greek Theatre. Whether you love space exploration or just documentaries in general, you'll want to check this out! The TV premiere of FOX's newest documentary series is set to air simultaneously over 10 different channels. Talk about starting with a big bang! Now here's the great part, we're giving away tickets to FOX's premiere screening & Live Q&A, plus 2 passes to the post-event reception, 1 night in a hotel, transportation to and from the event, and a $200 American Express Gift Card! And it's simple to enter, just like FOX11 Los Angeles on Facebook and fill out your information.

But that's not all. If you haven't been watching our sister station, KCOP My13, I highly suggest you check it out – you could win $2000! Imagine what you could do with that money! Can someone say spring break getaway?? Our buddy, C More, is running a contest of his own, and it's all centered around one of his favorite shows, BONES. Do you think you have what it takes to solve a crime scene? Then put your detective work to the test! Just watch BONES, Saturdays at 6pm, on C More My13. Then, post a photo of an object similar to the one that helped solve the murder case with the hashtag #LABonesClue on Instagram or Tweet the name of the object for a chance to win!

So many great prizes, and they're all for the taking. I'm not going to lie, I am a little jealous employees can't enter. And don't forget to like both FOX11 Los Angeles and CMore My13 on Facebook and Twitter. That's where you'll hear about all of the contests - first!
